Isaiah 9 is A beautiful depiction of a life of hope in Christ. On this Christmas Eve it represents the hope that Should fill our souls.

Is.9:2 ” The people who walked in darkness

have seen a great light;

those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness,

on them has light shone.”

Many people are dwelling in darkness, as life pushes in and removes hope and joy . So many things destroy our peace and joy that we struggle to see hope. Our mind and heart are buried in worry over bills and jobs. Some face life threatening news. Others are surrounded by reminders of those once loved, but now gone from us.

This time of year can be an emotionally tough time for many people. Many people struggle to so hope. Yet, Isaiah reminds us that in the Darkest time God has a hope already planned.

The greatest darkness is to be separate from the eternal hope of God. However, even the separating power of sin cannot overcome the love, mercy, and grace of God. He gave as His son Jesus.  We have hope through his sacrifice that sin is covered and relationship with God restored.

This Christmas Eve be blessed and step out of the darkness of despair and into the light of Hope.

Be blessed on your journey.
